A profile has three parts: the products it covers, the locations you ship them from, and the zones that hold your rates.

The products card. Check it lists what you expect; new products join the default profile automatically.

The locations you ship these products from.

Zones are the regions you ship to. Shopify matches the delivery address to one zone, then shows that zone's rates.

Rates live inside each zone: flat, price or weight conditional, or carrier calculated.

Name rates so customers understand them, with the delivery window in the name, like Standard, 3 to 5 working days.

Add zone covers a new region. If a rate never shows at checkout, the usual cause is a weight or price condition the order does not meet.
